The THP Virtual Golf Fitness Program allows you to take advantage of the latest golf fitness training principles from THP Coaches with over 30 years of experience in the industry.

The team at THP has created a follow along fitness plan that you can do daily side by side THP coaches via our virtual app. We wanted to bring the training principles we utilize every day on the top PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and elite Amateur athletes that we have the privilege of training directly to you at home. Over our history, we have helped countless athletes gain speed, resiliency, and improve consistency on the course, all while reducing nagging injuries.

“Virtual golf fitness… what is that all about?”

Over the years, we have created a tried and true method for increasing your club head speed, improving your resiliency, and opening up your body to own the swing you want to swing. Our virtual fitness program offers you an in depth look into our training principles with easy to follow videos filmed with THP coaches, live in session. In these videos, we will be side by side coaching you up to ensure your form is spot on. We cover all the big pieces of each movement and count the reps with you.

“That sounds like something I need, what are the details?”

THP has multiple tiers of training for golfers of all skill levels and ages. If virtual follow alongs that you can do at your own pace fit your lifestyle, this program is for you. All you need to do is answer a few questions on how you move, and we will pair you with the right program for you. The Virtual Golf Fitness Program is pre-programmed and focuses on the following:

  • 2 Full Body Strength days utilizing a TRX unit and FMT Band
  • 2 Days focused on Mobility or Stability, based on your movement.
  • Golf fitness and holistic health tips directly in your email
  • Golf specific warm-ups and activations
  • Evolving programs every 4-6 weeks to keep your training progressing
  • Access to THP coaches for questions
  • Promotional rates on THP Golf Assessments
  • Promotional rates on other THP Training
“How do I know which program is right for me?”

Great question! Answer the following questions and you will be all set:

  • When standing, can you touch your toes?
  • Can you reach directly overhead and touch your bicep to your ear without leaning backwards shrugging your shoulders?
  • Do you feel like you have the ability to execute a full backswing and follow through?

If you answered “NO” to any of these questions, the MOBILITY program is right for you! If all 3 of these questions were a resounding “YES” then the STABILITY program is the way to go. Not sure if you fit either category? Start with the mobility program and we can always get you on the stability based program if needed.

“What’s the difference between the Mobility and Stability Program?”

Let’s dive into the details!

Mobility - Focuses on opening up the shoulders, hips, ankles, knees, and spine to ensure you have the necessary range of motion to swing whatever swing you need to. The strength portion of this program will be consistent with current training principles while auxiliary days and portions of the main program will be solely focused on mobility.

Stability - Mobility is a precursor to strength and power in all sports, especially golf. But, having a ton of mobility without stability of the surrounding joint and core is a recipe for disaster. This program will focus on locking down the trunk and strengthening the connections between lower body and upper body, helping you access consistent power through each swing. The strength portion of this program will be consistent with current training principles while auxiliary days and portions of the main program will be solely focused on stability of the whole body.

“I’m going to need a full gym for this, aren’t I?”

We get it! You would rather be spending your time and money at the course or on golf trips. That is why we made this program with only 2 pieces of equipment, both of which are very easy to travel with. They are a TRX unit and FMT band. This is truly all you need to have a great training program and unlock your body. If you are ready to roll, you can purchase both pieces of equipment right here.

“Okay, I know what program I need, let’s do this. How do I sign up?”

Great, let’s do this! Remember the questions above, well keep that in mind and click the corresponding link for either MOBILITY or STABILITY and you will be brought to our Teambuildr store. From there, click BUY and follow the steps to set up an account. Once you create your account, put in your credit card information, and agree to the terms of service, you are all set!

From there, download the Teambuildr Training app on the App Store or Google Play Store and login with your username and password you just created. We will have more information ready to come directly to you to ensure the program goes off without a hitch. All you need to do is log in, make sure you have your training space and water bottle ready, click workouts, and click play on the follow along videos! (best viewed with headphones). We will be checking in with you from time to time to ensure you are getting the most out of your training. Everything is pre-programmed so as long as you follow along each day, you’ll have training waiting for you.

“What if I want a more custom program?”

We got you! That is our bread and butter at THP.

At THP, we custom build all of our programs to match the golfer in front of us after we take a deep dive on their movement, power, strength, and aerobic capacity. THP offers three separate tiers of training with virtual and in person options. Here are the highlights:
