From swinging his plastic golf clubs at the age of 2 to power lifting in college, Ladd has always been active in sports and fitness. Ladd was raised in Mesa and after receiving a full-ride academic scholarship to Utah State University, he followed his passion and pursued a degree in Kinesiology. While receiving his degree, he racked up thousands of hours of clinical experience as a corrective exercise specialist and exercise physiologist. But after graduating, Ladd changed career paths to reconnect with his roots in sports and performance enhancement.
Ladd is currently attending Arizona State University pursuing a masters degree in strength and conditioning. Armed with his experience training athletes at Utah State and Arizona State, Ladd is passionate about making the world a stronger place through proper movement mechanics, injury prevention, and evidence based practice. Outside of coaching and his school work, you can find Ladd powerlifting in the gym, enjoying AZ cuisine, or spending time with his wife and three rabbits.
